Woman Enterpreneurs Committee

The Women Entrepreneurs Committee (WEC) of MACCIA, driven by the philosophy “Of the Women, By the Women, For the Women,” focuses on empowering women in business. It facilitates the formation of industry-specific clusters such as Fashion Designing and Food Processing, and operates a “Single Window Guidance Center” to provide easy support for women entrepreneurs.

The Committee builds a bridge between MACCIA women members and Mahila Aayog, organises seminars, lectures, and panel discussions to showcase success stories, and coordinates programs by government authorities to explain benevolent schemes. Additionally, it hosts networking events with bankers, NBFCs, venture capitalists, and angel investors, engages with renowned start-ups, and organises business fairs and exhibitions exclusively for women entrepreneurs.
