About MACCIA
At the heart of India’s most dynamic state stands the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture (MACCIA) a living legacy shaping enterprise since 1927.
Founded under the vision of Seth Walchand Hirachand, one of India’s pioneering industrialists, MACCIA was created to give Maharashtra’s entrepreneurs, traders, and agriculturists a strong collective voice. His forward-thinking leadership laid the foundation for what would become the state’s most leading chamber.
With its presence spread across every district of Maharashtra, MACCIA is the only chamber with such deep grassroots connect. It unites more than 6,000 direct members along with 800 local trade and industry associations, representing a collective strength of over 40,00,000 businesses and professionals from large corporations and MSMEs to traders, agriculturists, and service providers.
Serving as a trusted bridge between entrepreneurs, policymakers, and society, MACCIA represents the collective voice of trade, commerce, industry, and agriculture. From MSMEs and startups to large corporations and agri-enterprises, the Chamber provides an inclusive platform to collaborate, innovate, and expand.
