Ports, Logistics & Warehousing Committee

The Ports, Logistics & Warehousing Committee of MACCIA focuses on improving transport and trade efficiency through road, rail, and waterways while addressing challenges faced by members.

It identifies and documents issues related to port infrastructure, cargo handling, customs clearance, warehousing, and logistics parks in Maharashtra. The Committee organises open decision-making meetings with stakeholders and state authorities, holds quarterly meetings with the Ministry of Ports & Shipping, state secretaries, and port officials including MMB, JNPT, and MbPT.

It also prepares comparative charts of rates, incentives, and services offered by Maharashtra ports versus other states, plans annual port conferences, and conducts quarterly seminars and workshops to raise awareness and promote best practices in logistics and port management.
