Food Processing Committee

The Food Processing Committee of MACCIA works to strengthen Maharashtra’s food processing sector by providing policy support, facilitating infrastructure development, and enabling capacity expansion and upgradation.

It promotes the export of processed food products and encourages agroentrepreneurs to establish food processing industries while availing financial assistance from State and Union Ministries.

The Committee also addresses issues affecting all stakeholders in the agriculture and allied sectors, including food security, PDS, animal husbandry, and horticulture. By fostering growth and innovation, it aims to support the creation of global food manufacturing champions.
