Environment Committee

The Environment Committee of MACCIA is committed to promoting sustainable development and environmental stewardship across Maharashtra. Its initiatives include planting a minimum of 10 lakh trees in every region, creating 100 acres of dense forests using the Miyawaki method, and coordinating with government authorities to implement water-harvesting projects on public lands.

The Committee also develops economical models for solid waste management and solar energy systems that can be easily adopted by societies, Gram Panchayats, Nagar Parishads, and corporations. To raise environmental awareness, it organises programmes at schools and colleges in association with universities.
