Cluster Development Committee

The Cluster Development Committee of MACCIA works to strengthen the sustainability and growth of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) across Maharashtra. It addresses common issues such as technology upgradation, skill and quality improvement, and enhanced market access

The Committee builds capacity for collective action by facilitating self-help groups, consortia and upgraded associations, while also identifying and documenting the problems faced by industrial clusters in areas like infrastructure, common facilities, marketing and government support.

It regularly engages with senior State Government officials including the Industry Secretary and Development Commissioner to resolve cluster-specific challenges, and organises workshops and discussion meetings to help unit holders upgrade their technology, marketing and management skills.

The Committee also plans annual conferences and award functions to showcase best practices, makes representations for effective implementation of government schemes
